I had a pretty high risk pregnancy and decided to stick with my OB instead of a Midwife. I adore my OB and her practice does have a Midwife on staff but they definitely trend toward mainstream.
I went in this morning for my annual and when I grabbed a magazine I saw something that made me smile
Proudly displayed in a space of its own was a WIC pamphlet on breastfeeding and the 2009-2010 RI Breastfeeding Coalition guide of Breastfeeding professionals. Of course I read it and it was awesome.
