Can someone please tell me how far along...

Can someone please tell me how far along I am by my LMP? Doctors are saying due Sept. 17 but I have checked repeatedly and still come up a week farther along than they say. I am checking by my LMP which I might add I wrote down in December and I have never in all my 31 years done that! It was December 4th, first day of...So wouldn't that put me EDD around September 11th or 12th? I would like to know weeks and months. Am I in my third tri- or still in my second? Thanks-

My LMP was December 8th, and I have an EDD of Sept 15th, so yah - the 11th would make sense.

I'm 26w1d right now, so you'd be 26w5d?? give or take a day. And just starting the 3rd trimester (divide 40 by 3 gives 13.3 wks per trimester - so 26.5wks would be starting the 3rd)

Have you had an u/s? sometimes the doctors will change your EDD according to measurements on early u/s.

Edited to add - I'd stick with the 17th!!!!! It gives you more time before they start wanting to intervene if you go 'overdue'!

If it were me I'd "know" that it's the 11th or 12th but play along with the HP's about the 17th.

Do you know when you ovulated? You could have ovulated later than you think.

I have no idea. Just when the web sites say that it most likely occured 12/18 or 12/19 which puts me at an EDD of 9/11! How exciting! Although, most people when they ask and I tell them that-they freak! Why? I don't see a problem delivering a healthy, happy baby on a day that in history was a sad day. Now, for me at least, it can always be a happy one. I remember falling to my knees that year pregnant with my first and wondering "What does this mean now"? I guess, I will always know if my baby is born on 9/11 that it just meant that I would have a baby to commemorate the occasion. The american baby site says that ovulation probably occured between 12/14 and 12/24 so again, DK!

actually that works in your favor, the doctors thinking you have a later due date then you think is correct. this way you have more leeway where "over due" dates come in. you have like a whole extra week!

really the whole EDD thing is flawed anyway. when people ask i just say i am due in september. because frankly, once september comes, i could have the baby at any time during that month.
