Sometimes i forget to drink water
Yeah, so do I. Sometimes it doesn't seem to matter, sometimes my uterus very grumpily reminds me

Don't beat yourself up over it, if you start to show signs of dehydration (contractions, dizziness, exhaustion, etc) then sit down and drink!

I used to but have MADE myself get better because of all the BH's I get with this duo...

But, my other pgs and the start of this one my husband's most common question was "Did you drink enough today????????"
i had a couple of days where i was only getting about six glasses or so in and i started having a lot more BH. i was having so many it was worrying me. a couple days after i upped my water to at least 8 or 9 glasses (about 10oz glasses) i stopped having so many. also my scale has body water content when i got on it this morning it said my water was only 44% it's supposed to be like 50%. so i am trying to drink even more but it's hard some days.

strawberries too. I had just a few strawberries on Mother's Day and was in the bathroom the rest of the day.

I forget the water too. I'm gradually cutting out any type of soda at this point and starting to make tea every day so atleast I get water that way if I forget to get enough directly from the sink. We have well water and I still dislike the taste. I buy bottled water at times just to have some better tasting in the house.

i do eat a lot of watermelon. i go through an entire watermelon in a week :P

i have never had a braxton hicks contraction and i am 26 weeks 1 day, so i am not too worried. i guess all the fruit does it's job.

thanks for reassuring me though, sometimes i feel bad

I forget water too. Mostly because I don't LIKE water. Sounds crazy maybe but I just don't like the taste. I do drink lots of other things though. My MW gave me a recipie for fruit juice spritzers too and she said that they work well for hydration. Not as good as water but better than soda. Just a glass of club soda mixed with 100% fruit juice (fresh is best) and then add some fresh fruit slices. Its yummy with ice and makes a pretty summer drink.

i am now pounding the water. they are monitoring me for placenta problems (although there have been no problems as of yet anyway) and discovered that my amniotic fluid was on the low end of normal. i have to go back for a second scan next week, to see if it improves. i'm doing everything in my power to improve it, as the "remedy" is hospitalization/bedrest.

from what i've read about "low" amniotic fluid, it's fairly easy to happen especially at the end of pregnancy, especially for late summer pregnancies, like ours. "remedies" include hospitalization/IV hydration -- and early induction. scary things.

maybe you won't have any complications but i'm "scared straight" now and pushing/forcing/pounding the water.

we have well water, which i don't trust for drinking water. so we're buying a lot of bottled water.
