Yep, we're set on both first and middle names; this baby was by FAR the easiest of all six to name -- hey, looks like we're finally getting the hang of this thing!

It helps a lot that he is a boy following two girls, so we've had this boy name on a short list for quite a while now, lol!

Our naming tradition, formed over the past five kiddos, is to choose our favorite name at the time for first name and then to use a family name for the middle name. This baby is no exception. We also like to make sure the name fits it well with our other children's names.
So he will be
Duncan (another British Isles name to go with Kieran and Cameron)
Edmund (my stepfather's first name -- the other two boys have my father and my FIL's names, respectively.)
Since we've "peeked" with each babe (I am in the camp who really feels MORE bonded to my baby after learning the sex), we typically choose a name shortly afterwards and then call the baby by his/her name for the rest of the pg, so the baby really does become his/her name by the time of the birth.
Julia, I can tell you our Charlotte's full name, if it helps at all...
Charlotte Fiona Marie
She's our only kiddo to have TWO middle names (due to an internal family dispute -- both middle names are family names -- that I have NO intention of ever getting caught up in again; lesson learned!)
I also like:
Charlotte Elizabeth
Charlotte Rose
Charlotte Jane
Charlotte Grace
Charlotte Jolie
In general, I prefer something short paired with the name, b/c it's so long on its own. My Charlie is entering kindergarten this fall and is currently NOT thanking me much for saddling her with such a long name to spell and write, lol! Oops!
