On the run hearty breakfast ideas?

I'm starting a new job and I won't have any time in the AM to make breakfast and sit down to eat. When I get to work, I won't have time to sit down and relax in a chair while I gobble down something. I need to be able to eat my breakfast while driving (only about 1 stop light but the rest is about 65MPH).

Anyway, I refuse to eat processed food and I refuse to use the microwave to heat something before I leave. I do have a mini-oven and toaster.

I need my breakfast to be filling enough to let me last 5 hrs until I can get a lunch.

The only thing I can think of is making waffles and freezing them and put them in the mini-oven when I want one- the problem is I can only eat so many waffles! Does french toast do well frozen? I wonder is a smoothie would be sufficient enough? I don't think a drink could last 5-6 hrs- right?!.

Any other ideas? Thanks!

Honestly I would get up 15 minutes earlier & eat at home, or eat a banana & eat at work. I like oatmeal with banana & peanut butter. I also like eggs, I usually have both. You could do up a big batch of rolled oats or steel cut oats for the week & re-heat in the toaster oven while you shower. It doesn't take long to eat! Smothies to not hold me long at all, they just take the edge off for a while. You could also do a big batch of egg quiches in a muffin pans & reheat those in the toaster oven, could even make it into a breakfast sandwich. The quiches freeze really well! Good luck with the new job!

I recently made some Carrot Cake Breakfast Cookies that I sweetened with applesauce and stevia and they turned out really yummy and filling!

Otherwise, what about steel cut oats in the crock pot? They'll be hot and ready first thing in the morning, and all you'd have to do is eat. hth!

Could you make hard boiled eggs the night before, peel them and take them in the car? Devilled eggs?

How about premade egg salad, chicken salad or tuna salad sandwiches? Make it up the night before, put it in the fridge, grab and run in the morning.

Same with peanut butter and honey sandwiches.

Cheese sandwich, cream cheese and tomato sandwich.

Pancakes are easily made and frozen like waffles.

But...I'd get up earlier and eat at home if possible as a previous poster suggested.
