Bloody Show :) How long until labor?

Last night I started to have this so-called bloody-show and then a ton more this morning (gobs and gobs of it--ick!)... all night I had menstrual-like cramps and a back-ache.... and I am SOOOO hungry and SOOOO thirsty! How long did it take for you to go into labor after your bloody show?

for me it was a few days after. you should definitely eat and drink because you will need the energy. happy birthing!!!!!!

Within 24 hours, for me. Go take a nap while you can!

With my son it was about 12 hours, maybe a little more. Waiting to see if I even get bloody show with this one!

I've had show for 3 days. All I've got to show for it is 2 days of prodromal... Last time I was in labor by 24 hours.

If it's true bloody show labour and/or baby should be within 4 hours. I googled it when I got it with DD2. She was born, I think, 36 hours after I posted on here moaning about it.

I had all those symptoms, including some bloody show, at 36 weeks. Still pregnant at 40w3d.

With my first, this happend in early labor....with my second, a full TWO WEEKS before hand.
owever, since this is your first, and you are cramping also, I have a hunch that for you, it will probably be soon...the point is just that each of us do it a bit differently, so there is no way of knowing for sure. best wishes !

I had it on May 31 and baby is still in there at 38w5d.

#1 - had show a day or two before baby (26 hour labor).
#2 - never had show until very fast labor (90 min labor).
#3 - had a tiny bit of show about 6 hours before he was born (60ish min labor).

No help here, I didn't get bloody show until I was well into active labor. I didn't realize people got it before then!
