how much wool?

ok, so i have my lil stash of some aios and pockets for bed and outings, and now id like to finish it off with something more natural for daytimes at home (and actually i know it would work well at bedtimes too, but the pockets are easier for me to change when im in a late night daze lol). ive ordered some prefolds in the next size up, because the infant size is barely big enough for us to snappi right now. how many covers should i get to go with them? id like enough to last a full day, but it wont be my entire stash so i don't need to go all out i guess. and can anyone point me in the direction of some affordable shorties and longies? i started reading through the wool sticky above, but its hard to sort through for things that are more affordable. recycled would be great if anyone knows of a reputable seller.

I choose to buy used Kozy designs wool covers (also available on ebay or used at diaperswappers) because they were the cheapest option other than making my own using recycled wool sweaters. They are very easy to make too though. 2-3 covers was enough for us. As long as I used a snappi I never had to worry about getting poop on them which is the only time they need to be washed typically.

I have four covers between the two, so two each. I would love to have at least one more each for the times when they have a heavy pee that seems to take forever to dry.

awesome , thanks guys. i didnt even think to check ds. i found a woman on etsy who sells recycled wool that's super cute and affordable, and she lives in my state so shipping is FAST. i got one in the mail from her today and its great so maybe ill order two more and be done with it.
