What do you guys think of this baby item?

I just saw it on a banner on a web page- it kinda seems cool but I worry about baby getting feet stuck when the push off because its slides back down ( you see it in action if you view the demo) so what do you all think about it?

I kinda think it is weird, and a waste of money. Use it for maybe 4 mo? Dc will get muscle toning from slings and mei tei, and playing in our laps... just way too passive a parenting tool for my taste.

I think it's super cute, and it doesn't seem like a bad idea, but I agree a babe might be able to get his or her feet under the kickplate. Although, if there's a bar at the bottom of the seat, getting a foot stuck would be very hard to do. You'd have to check and see one in person probably.

It seems a bit like it's playing on the fear of obesity a bit but I wouldn't be opposed to it. It's not more expensive than a lot of bouncy seats and I think a lot of babies would enjoy the kicking and sliding.

If I were you I might get it. It's not like you're going to leave the kid alone in it. So even if he *could* get a foot under that plate thing, it's probably all soft materials and you'd be right there.

If you like it, get it. Or maybe register for it and let fate decide!
