I am due September 19th and have been lurking on this board since the beginning and thats just awful. I think I posted once.

I'm sorry.

Just wanted to say Hi!

I'm having my first boy after 3 girls from a previous marriage. His name will be Andrew Mark.

I'm getting married to Mr. right on July 11th. This preggo was a major surprise but a welcomed one!

I was a nurses assistant til I lost my job 2 months ago. Right now no one will hire me so I been spending way to much time online anyways and decided to stop in and say hello!

You big lurker you!

Seriously, though, you don't have to apologize! Just come on in and join the fun! As you've no doubt figured out by now, we're a kinda crazy group here

Congrats on the boy! Are you excited to have a boy after three girls, or do you feel like you're entering uncharted territory? As much as I really wanted this one to be a girl after two boys, at the same time I'm familiar with boys, and as the saying goes "the evil you know is better than the evil you don't know!" Haha! (not that my kids are evil, it's a joke!)

Anyway, hope you stay around now!

Thanks for the welcome.

Its kinda uncharted territory to me. I only say that because my first baby actually was a boy. I had him in 2001 for 4 months. He died in the nicu due to menningitis. He originally was in the nicu because of a heart issue and hydrocephalus. He was born at 37 weeks with iugr weighing only 3lbs.

So I didnt get to spend much time with him and do all the boy things.

I guess i shouldnt say Andrew was my first boy but I'm just so thankful that I get to have a healthy little boy this time.

It will be strange tho. I have 3 rambuncious little girls and to add him into the mix will definitly never be a dull moment.

Welcome, Yankeegirl!
So you are a yankee fan? or a yankee by location?
Sorry to hear about your loss.
I am glad to hear you are having a healthy baby boy and found mr. right!
I can't imagine trying to plan a wedding right now too, although I say that as I am trying to buy a house...never a dull moment!

Hi SugarPop!

Its both. I'm a huge NY Yankee fan and also live in Pennsylvania.

I guess I can relate.

Due tothe economy my rental is going up for sale because the LandLords lost they're business and now I have to move.

So im currently getting ready for a wedding, looking for a place to move into with the Fiance and gettign ready for baby.

Crazy stuff.

Sounds like a breeze!!! : I hope you're at least having a fairly easy pregnancy, dealing with all that PLUS any pregnancy difficulties would just be icing on the cake, huh?!

I'm so sorry about your first son. What was his name? I'm so glad this baby appears to be healthy! I have a special needs son, and this pregnancy was a surprise, partially because we had decided we weren't sure we wanted to risk another pregnancy because there is a genetic factor with my son's syndrome. It's made me awfully nervous during this pregnancy, we chose not to do any testing on this baby (except an ultrasound) so there's still a seed of worry in my brain that this baby ISN'T healthy, even though he appears to be on ultrasound.

Anyway...welcome again, and if you have time between the life-changing events you have going on right now, we look forward to hearing more from you! Make sure to sign up on the spotlight thread if you want your turn in the spotlight (I think it's in the stickies at the top of our DDC).

yankeegirl....getting married is exciting and slightly nerve racking.

i am wearing a simple cotton dress in white, from h&m, i opted for nothing at all fancy so we would be able to spend more money on the baby and baby things

it's a week away! i will post pictures of course online when all is done.

I was lurking in your DDC (crashing from Aug.) and couldn't resist replying.

I lurk over here because I always feel like you guys are more 'normal' than my DDC! lol Not that anyone is abnormal, I'm just due at the very end of the month so I always feel like they're WAY more prepared, they know more, etc. But when I come here, I feel less like a lazy mom! And I like how fun your threads seem to be. Very friendly.

Congrats, OP!
