33 weeks on saturday.... I have remained thin and pretty shapely up til, I guess, last night. hahaha
My cheeks have gotten pretty chubby (I already had chubby cheeks) but nowhere else seemed to puff up til last night.
My ankles are a tad swollen. Nothing awful, but definitely noticeable.

Anyone else swelling?

Cankle city, sweethart

My ankles are horrible, and have been for over a month now. I've been on doctor ordered pool time (one hour a day) for about three weeks. It only helps slightly. Drink plenty of fluids!!!

Yeah I am swelling over here, but just in one knee. I stand up to wash dishes for a short time and I have to lay down and elevate my legs to help with the swelling.
I have upped my calcium for the last 2 days and the swelling is much less. I just need to drink more water. I am just not interested in drinking anything because it fills me up so much when I want to eat too.

I haven't noticed anything yet, but I am only 29 weeks. I also work on my feet all day, so, we'll see how it goes. I usually come home for a two hour break in the middle of the day to let my dog out and play with her, but I'm usually at work 4-5ish hours before that and usually 4ish hours after. I'm crossing my fingers.

When I stay outside in the heat for a few mins I start rocking some mean kankles. My fingers swell up like little sausages too. Usually coming back inside and soaking my hands and feet in cool water makes the swelling go down. I hate swelling!

Well I bloat up like a balloon as soon as I turn the stick positive, and I'm already fat to begin with.

As for the swelling, I tend to swell in my hands/wrists and sometimes a little in my face, but it's mostly my hands. It's so bad that I get bouts of carpel tunnel and have been known to put on several pounds of water weight in one day.

I'm at 29 weeks and just started experiencing swelling in my feet, mostly at night, and maybe a tiny bit in my hands. I think it started when the weather got hot. It alarmed me at first--I started imagining that it was a sign of something dire. But I guess it's just normal.

I definitely learned that more humid environments and airplane travel make it worse. I'm staying in hot but dry Texas for the rest of this pregnancy for sure!

No, not here. I have swelled much until Innish, also August baby. W/ Eiley, August too, I took dandelion, helped so much!

My hands swell a bit if I stay outside in the sun for too long (a cool shower makes it go away). Other than that I haven't had any swelling at 32 weeks.. I didn't get much with my first pregnancy either, so hopefully this one will be the same.

Off to take some dandelion!
I need to get some dandelion. I gained 40 lbs of fluid in the last 4 weeks with DD1. I was totally healthy, just swollen.

This one, not so much yet. I will be 33 weeks on Sunday, I have a tiny bit in my face and when it gets hot, in my ankles and feet.

Funny thing. My divorce was granted May 14th of this year... So when I changed my name on my license, they needed a new signature and PICTURE.. UGH.. I hadn't washed my hair in about 3 days and my cheeks are FAT. I was NOT excited. LOL

Hmm! A couple of days ago I started taking several cups of nettle (plus whatever else appealed to me, mostly oatstraw and peppermint) infusion. I thought it was a coincidence that my swelling decreased so dramatically, but maybe not. I was thinking of making some dandelion stuff today... Thanks for the reminder!

I started swelling moderately in my feet and ankles about a week ago. I saw my midwife on Wednesday and she put me on Chlorophyll 4 pills a day, elevating feet while sitting down, lots of water, and at least 30 minutes of pool time a few times a week. I haven't started the pool because I need a new swimsuit (ordered one from Motherhood Maternity for relatively cheap but it won't be here for a few more days).

I will tell you that the pills, the elevating, and the water have already done the trick! I wasn't swollen at all yesterday, so she decreased my dosage to 2 pills per day. Yay!

swelling went down the next morning. I think it was the heat for sure. I also was wearing sandals and no arch support.. I also realized I stand wrong on my right foot (which was where the swelling was located mainly). So after a nice bath, keepin my feet up, tons of water and some rest, all better!

Ive had shoes on all day,...but im kinda having that itchy feeling... so im about to unmask them to see if its returned. Seems like it may be just at night for me as well! And I live in the desert so you know the heat is unreal!
No swelling in hands or fingers, thank goodness. I would have a panic attack if I had to take my ring off. hahaha

I've been getting a little bit of swelling in my ankles and sometimes in my hands. My midwife says I should drink nettle tea but I can't drink stuff - give it to me in a pill and I'm all good (even horse pills!) But I just can't drink anything weird. Can't seem to find nettle in a pill format. The lady at our organic food store told me that I could take Cranberry in a pill. Anyone else heard of that helping with swelling?

I tried an ice bath for my feet and that just HURT!! OMG my feet hurt sooo bad for hours after.

Going in a pool helped with some of my swelling!

You can take dandelion capsules, same or more effective than nettles. Cranberry, no.

Well I have been taking dandelion for most of the pregnancy and nettles infusions everyday, and I still am swelling, but only in one knee. I think I realized that I am having an allergic reaction to dairy. I am cutting that out and will see how that goes.

My midwife said that to help with the swelling, I should eat 4-5 eggs per day. She said that the fatty acids reduce inflamation and I need the protein anyway. I've gained 9lbs this pregnancy and they estimate that he weighs 5lbs 2oz already( I am 32 weeks)... so we shall see how things go.
