ACK! Overbeaten whipped cream!?

I know there's a way to rescue it, but google is failing me. Does anyone know what it is? It literally went from liquid to butter in about 3 beats (by hand).

I didn't know you could rescue it, at least no once it is at the butter stage My sister did that one time, and we just ate it as butter--sweetened butter.

I think you are supposed to add more unwhipped cream to it. Maybe a litlte milk if you don't have cream.
