What do you think of the Very Basic AIO?

Has anyone used or made the Very Baby "Very Basic AIO" diaper?

I like the enclosed elastic without casing stitching on the outside of the diaper. But the rise looks kind of high, but it is so hard to tell on a pic. Nice fit? Leaks? Blow-outs?

I had one when dd was in mediums and I liked it. Nice fit, no leaks, cute as a button. I'm not really an internal soaker AIO person though--I always worry about the laundry, even if it isn't causing problems.

I love the XS for the newborn stage as a 'going out' diaper. But, beyond that I'm with JuliaCat in that the fit is great & super trim, but the internal soaker can harbor some uglies & take a long time to dry.

ditto--love the fit, works nicely, but spring for the snap in soaker instead of going with the internal.

Oooh! Very good to know! Dipes that can't really get water circulated through tons of those layers scare me. If I try it, I'll make it a snap-in soaker instead. Thanks for the heads up!!

I've used these since our first days of CDing and LOVE them. My current babe can remove almost all diapers, so we don't get to use velcro a lot, but I still adore VB AIOs. I've had both snap-in and internal soakers and am okay with either. I generally prefer the sewn-in as a quick option that's pretty well failproof for DH.

I have never tried the VB AIO, but have you seen the MumsBums? They are made with the VB pattern, i think, or one VERY similar to it. And they are quick drying. They where a little too wide in the crotch for my dd, but beyone that they where my favorite diapers that i used (and i have tried just about all of the ones i could get my hands on).
