question about calcium lactate

Sorry if this has been discussed, I don't visit the forum much. My DD has a diary and soy allergy. I know that FAAN says calcium lactate is "safe" from diary, but then again, they also say soy oil and soy lecithin are okay for the soy allergic and that has not been my experience at all. I have read it's made with lactic acid, which can have diary in it.

Does anyone have actual experience with calcium lactate causing an issue? It was in the orange juice my DD drank and after finally reaching baseline for a decent amount of time, she had bad gas and was up every 45 minutes to an hour last night and I can't figure out what caused it

Thanks

just plain OJ would do that for sure in my DS, does your DD have OJ all the time w/o a reaction?

she ended up having stomach issues the next day, so I have no clue. I can't remember if she has had plain oj or not. Maybe that is what it was. Either way, I probably won't give it to her anymore for now.

Oranges and oj are things my dd reacts to also, with mucousy diarrhea and bad diaper area rash.
