hi everyone. we welcomed our fourth girl (sixth child) at 5:36 a.m. on june 8. 8 lbs 13 oz - mom and baby are great. we were planning our 4th homebirth, but ended with a c-section and it very likely saved both our lives. this birth taught me that the way we want things aren't always they are meant to be! we have to be open to all experiences and not get stuck in one mindset or another! this birth opened my eyes in so many ways!!! may we all learn the lessons we need from our births

You're right that things sometimes go very sideways so it's good to know you got the care you both needed to have a good outcome. Congratulations on your daughter's arrival and you have the right attitude...sometimes things just don't go as planned and that's ok too!! Healthy baby and healthy mommy is the most important outcome!
