After weeks of prodromal labor- I woke up last nite to 1 contraction at 12:38 and just KNEW this was it. After 2 more contractions I had woken up my husband adn babysitter was on the way to the house to watch my other boys.
I'm gonna write the whole story later- but at 4:13 my 3rd baby boy was born. He was 8lbs even and 20.5 inches long.
I feel great- with the exception of after pains
Tiernan is doing well- except that he's under teh warmers right due to a low body temp. He's also not been nursing really at all- I just think he's a lazy eater!
I just finished pumping to try and get some yummies in him somehow.
He's beautiful and wonderful and the birth was GREAT!
He has ORANGE hair and NOONE in our families is a redhead- so I'm gonna be getting a LOT of "milkman" comments I'm sure!
Oh and he was COVERED in vernix which was a first for me- I was SOOO sticky and gross afterwards! It was fun though
All in all a great nite- but i haven't been able to sleep yet...I'm hoping an afternoon nap today!
