Anyone else have the same thing day in-day out for any meals?

We most of the time have the same breakfast and lunch meal, -same things in it only I vary the flavor. Like for breakfast we are now having fresh fruit with yoghurt, so I will use different fruits and different flavors of yoghurt.

We just seem to have found what we enjoy for breakfast and lunch meals, and want to stick to it. Does this seem ok?

And what's great is, I don't have to use the oven/grill etc until the evening dinner meal! wooohooo!!!

Kind of. Breakfasts are usually toast, bagels, oatmeal or eggs, in any fashion.

Lunches are sandwiches or leftovers.

I would be perfectly content to eat the same thing every single day. Dh is not so we eat a big variety.

I always eat the same breakfast. I don't see why that would be bad, you can vary the other meal(s) and the goodness in your favorites is always good

DH hates doing this for dinner. He's been doing it for years for breakfast though. I get tired of the same meal after about a month regardless of time of day!

So we have a couple of breakfast choices, dinners are varied. Lunches for him are more varied bc he usually takes leftovers. If he doesn't, I eat them. DD and DS lunches are pretty much the same 4-5 repeating though, and I eat them too if there aren't leftovers.

Summer Breakfasts: Yogurt and nuts; PB Toast; Blueberry Toaster Waffles; Cereal Bars; Cereal... mostly always with fruit

Morning snack is usually cheese or yogurt if we didn't have that already

Summer Lunches: Pasta with parm and peas; Quesadillas; PBJ; Hard boiled eggs; Veggie dogs... usually a veggie on the side at lunch and pretzels or similar

Afternoon snack is usually fruit or "stuff" bread (banana bread, cranberry bread, zucchini bread)

Dinners: Always varied

Desserts: We usually have a small serving of something sweet after dinner, fruit like strawberries or cherries; ice cream; cookies

I also aim to make sure DD has protein at 1 meal/day. She's ravenous and cranky the next day if she has no protein at any of the meals, but as long as there's 1, it's fine. Many days there's more than 1 protein meal though. We also do 1 sweet a day, so when we get donuts as a treat for breakfast, we don't do dessert, etc.
