New to healthy eating ... help?

So i was raised on kraft dinner and traditional meat and potato meals. i'm trying to change my families eating habits. my husband is a chef, and i love to cook, but i don't know where to begin or how to change my cooking habits. my daughter just turned one and i want her to have better habits than i did. i would love suggestions for where to begin making changes.

i usually go to the store and see what nice organic produce is on sale and go from there. stir fry is a good place to start! very versatile and healthy and easy to cater to individual tastes. pick which veggies you like, (zucchini, onions, garlic, peppers, broccoli, etc...) and tofu or meat over brown or white rice.

i make alot of whole wheat pasta dishes with veggies. sometimes fettucine with spinach and mushrooms or macaroni and cheese with ww pasta and zucchini or something baked in.

hope that helps.

maybe if you have some more specific questions, we can provide more specific answers.
