Ow, my heiney:( Sciatica strikes!

I took a couple of weeks off from my aerobics video (yes, video; this workout doesn't come in a DVD), and now I'm in severe pain on my right side. And the worst part is that my VCR broke (understandable, as it's a dinosaur). And it's getting hot outside for walking. So here I sit, whiny and complainy and in need of exercise.

Anyone else?

I have found that if I don't move enough, everything hurts.. and if I move too much, everything hurts. I feel pretty good if I only take short walks and do all my house-hold chores. Anything more and I'm done the next day.

My sciatica is going crazy too! I just started working from home and didn't even notice how little I'm moving. Until last night, when I stood up and almost burst into tears!

But, like PP said, if I overdo it, even by a little, I'll feel it. Got to keep looking for that happy medium . . .

I wonder if spinning babies would help with sciatica? Has anyone heard? Maybe help the baby move off the nerve? I don't know that much about spinning babies, just that I used it to get #2 into position and not be overdue......

Welcome to my world.

Prenatal yoga can help some. Otherwise, a chiro and lots of tylenol. Also always sleep with a pillow between your legs.
