I have nasal congestion, runniness, etc... dark circles under the eyes, and acne-could an egg allergy or intolerance cause this? What foods give these symptoms?

Does anyone notice that after eating eggs they get runny nose?

Do raw eggs cause less reactions? Is there a difference b/t cooked and lightly cooked eggs?

I noticed that when I eat omelets my nasal congestion is bad right after I eat them but fried eggs with runny yolk and boiled eggs dont seem to cause an immediate reaction

Those are classic intolerance symptoms. What else is in your omelette besides eggs? Those sound like they could be dairy intolerance symptoms, are you using milk or butter in your omelettes?

just cut out dairy 4 days ago and was going to try 1 month no dairy to see if it makes a difference would this be good? after the 1 month should i reintroduce it? also I am taking silica pills with 64 milligrams of protein free lactose per tablet so i get about 768 mg's or 1 gram of lactose each day from the pills which is same amount in about .5 fluid ounce of milk.

do you think this would be a problem? the 1 gram lactose?

I initially thought coconut oil was causing my allergy symptoms-I fried the eggs in coconut oil but I cut out coconut oil and was eating 3 eggs every morning and still had runny nose and new breakouts.

can some people not even tolerate butter? how about ghee/goat butter I already miss dairy

what other foods would you recommend i cut out?

Definitely sounds like an intolerance.

Have you ever tried just cutting eggs and seeing if that helps?

Every food will produce different symptoms in different people. I wish it was as easy as saying, "dairy causes ____", "gluten causes ____", etc.

Are you keeping a food journal? That really is the most effective way (along with elimination/trialing of foods) to figure out intolerances.
