Francesca Anna was born at 1:15 am on 6/11/09. Active labor began at 5:15 am on 6/10/09. Francesca weighed 8lbs 3ozs at birth, and is 21 inches long. She has a full head of brown hair, and is very sleepy most of the time.
I never knew I would love her so much!!! It was all SO worth it.
I'll try to post my birth story later. The short version is a long labor, sunny side up/face up baby, "bands" in my cervix that made it hard to dilate due to my LEEP surgery (I still have to clarify with my MW what this was. She said I was in transition and checked me...I was only 3 cm!), a swollen cervix with an anterior lip, shoulder dystocia, two small natural tears and a very healthy, happy baby!
I am a first time momma whose HB ended up being a hospital delivery. We are actually quite happy with our decision to transfer and are just loving our beautiful girl right now.
