I think you're a couple of weeks ahead of me, so I hope hope hope I'm over this queasy/foggy bit then - glad you are! Yesterday was my "rest" day in terms of exercise because I had to be gone all day. This morning I walked and I'm planning on doing some strength training later today.

Keep it up ladies.

Walked this morning. Need to do something a little more strenuous... feeling a little depression creep in.

Husband and I are in the early stages of our own business (busy!), the house is a mess, and I'm completely worn out. It's time for some focus, some energy, and some serious action. I'm getting on it - now!

So how's everyone doing? Check in time!

I'm headed out the door now for a gentle jog.

still biking to work! 6mi. a day with a steep hill on the way home. i'm tired when i get home, but it's a great way to start off/end the work day.

Still walking about two miles a day and working out at the gym three days a week. Work has also picked up so add cleaning about three hotel rooms a day to that tally. (I don't know how I am going to make a bed when I am huge)

still working it...about 4-5 days a week

I went to my first cardio aqua-fit class last night.

It was great!

I was a little skeptical, I thought that it was going to be all "old ladies" but there were quite a few of us young ones too!

I have a new Thursday night activity.

Go Ladies!

Well, I have been sidelined for the past week due to a summer cold that seems not to want to let go. I guess it is pretty good timing because the weather has been rainy and unreasonable as well. I am thinking about borrowing my sister's elipticycle, anyone use one of these before. I need something to keep in shape when the snow flies here in Colorado.

I used to have an elliptical in my house and I thought it was great. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I couldn't read while working out because of all the up-down motion so I got bored really fast because I don't watch TV either. But that's my only complaint! Its a great workout.

P.S. I'm in Wyoming and SO tired of all this rain too :, hopefully it will be letting up pretty soon.

I did my cardio aquafit class last night...

great for getting the heart rate up, and not having to worry about aggravating injuries.

what is everyone else doing now that it is warming up a bit?

cheers,

Nice work everyone! I tell you, it is such inspiration on those mornings when I don't want to move at all to remember that if you all can do it then I can too.

This morning I had a good run and did some strength training from a preg. fitness book I picked up. Feeling good today.

Ha ha! Here it has been warming up a bit to 102 + so I've either been waking very early or not getting in any cardio.

I've been mixing it up, as far as my exercise regiment as concerned. Jog a little one day, walk the next, swim once or twice a week, jog/walk, hike. I think I am getting atleast 4 days in. I'd love to buy a membership at the local gym so I could swim all winter, but it is rather expensive. Maybe I should save my change all summer to have a swim winter. That would be nice for snowy days! Mixing it up kills monotany.

I haven't gotten back into the gym routine yet, still terrible m/s and fatigue. I had planned to be walking everyday, but we've had weeks of solid rain, ugh...so that isn't happening. I am working 40 hours a week and doing some stretching...so ya, no actual exercise. Blah. I am really hoping that in the next 2 weeks I will get back some energy, lose the constant nausea, and literally get my butt into gear.
I'm about 10 weeks along and starting to feel some relief from the constant nausea and exhaustion, so I've decided to try getting back at it again. Before pregnancy I joged 3-5 miles 3x a week and was thinking about training for the 2010 LA marathon, but then baby happened and I've been too sick and sleepy to work out for the past month or so.

I currently work as a waitress 5 days a week so I am staying up and active almost daily, but I want to up the intensity with actual gym workouts again. I'm also thinking of taking up swimming because my apartment building has an olympic sized pool, but I've never been a swimmer before.

We went for a five mile hike this weekend and I've been doing my walks everyday (I average about 2 miles a day) but I haven't made it to the gym for almost a week : - just stressed about moving and stuff.

Keep it up!

I'm trucking away with jogging/walking and strength training. Haven't been able to manage a bike ride or a swim yet, but I'm hopeful husband's work schedule will calm down a bit so he can hang with the kiddo and I can escape.

Like you kitteh I'm starting to feel better so that makes it all so much easier. Thank the heavens!

remijo - sorry for the moving stress. Our house is going to be purchased by the city (eminent domain) sometime in the near future but they've given us no definite timeline. I'm crossing my fingers it is either before nesting hits me (hit me hard and early last time) or after the babe arrives, otherwise I'm going to be a stress case.

MEcatlady - hope you get some sun and relief soon!

Owlpainter - Hooray for mixing it up. Yes, that is what I want to do too!

...went to another cardio aquafit class last night.

It felt good to work out without all of the pounding of running.

hope all is well,
cheers,

Ok I have to admit yesterday was the first time in a little over a week that I did any workouts. The last workout I did, I had cramping afterwards and it freaked me out a little. After I heard baby's heartbeat & I talked to my dr about it, I felt reassured that it was totally normal.

So I'm back on the wagon. I'm not getting very good sleep (lots of interruptions) and so it's hard for me to have motivation in the morning to get up & move.

I need to get involved. I have much more energy now, so it's just pure laziness at this point.
