Since we all spend so much time wondering/worrying about whether or not we are in labor, I think it is kind of funny that I realized I was really in labor very early in the game this time--I mean after two contractions. I knew, because I suddenly remembered how it felt and had the thought, "I do NOT want to do this again, can't I just put if off a day or two?" after whining for a week about how I couldn't take it anymore, and I just wanted the baby to come, the sudden realization of what was to come was a sure sign there saw no turning back!
