I have American Health Chewable Acidophilus in the frigde. DS decide to pass out "healthy stuff" and gave one chewable to everyone (minus the baby), I just want to know if this is ok for kids to consume. I am googling but can not find a kid dosage for these brand of chewables. The child said that it was "yummy" and want there own.

Does anyone know if this is safe for kids and /or if there is a dosage for kids??

I'm worried

I gave my babies probiotics from the time they took a bottle. Not all of the time, but mostly when there was tummy troubles. I don't see why there would be a problem giving them acidophilus regularly.

I just had my 20m old acidopholous for a while as she had been on antibiotics. I consulted with the pharmacist about it. I also have a friend who gave her daughter acidopholous in her first year. I can't remember why but it was recommended by her doctor (not that that means much, hehe)... I think it's fine.
