Swim diapers?

I see reusable swim diapers here in my One Step Ahead catalog, but they start at 6mo+. Can I use my pocket diapers without the insert? All I have is one size BGs and Happy Heiny's and she's only 3mo, so they're big on her. Should I get a sized pocket? I try to go to the pool after her daily poo, but we mostly use the big pool and I'm nervous about a mess and getting the pool shut down.

A pocket with no insert is fine, but it does need to fit tight around the legs and waist- especially for a infant with runny poo.

I would buy a sized pocket, or you could probably use a snug fitting cover if you have one of those. It doesn't need to hold pee at all, just keep the poop in.

A pocket without a insert is fine as long as it is tight fitting.

DD has this http://www.myswimbaby.com/catalog.php?category=62 and they work really well (and yes, she has had a runny poop in them)
