I really want to do this but I am terrified, read: terrified, of detoxing and then having to be so careful after I've detoxed. I am the lazy queen...

I think a good number of people around here do this, as to what that exact diet includes that varies- there are rawf00dists, vegans, vegetarians, TFers and people like me who have food intolerances so eat a more limited number of "clean" foods.`

Perhaps you can try one detox at a time. For example, if memory serves, clean eating espouses low-fat dairy. But, I find that those fats help counteract the craving for sugar (along with nuts, which clean eating allows). So, if you're trying to get off sugar, maybe keep the full-fat cheeses and nuts and things to snack on for a little while.

You will love it! : Think happy thoughts, they are powerful! Some real whole foods have natural sugars. :
