Has anyone else gone weird about food since being pregnant?
I am 12 weeks (I have my first scan this week and am very excited!) and I have "gone off" the idea of evening meals. I eat a good breakfast (toast, glass of milk and full fat yoghurt OR cerial, fruit salad and yoghurt), I have a piece of fruit mid-morning and a large cheese and salad wholemeal roll and a little orange for lunch. I usually have a biscuit mid-afternoon. I am trying to drink plenty of water (I don't want hot drinks AT ALL) aswell. When it comes to the evening meal I am sort of hungry but I don't really "fancy" anything. Even the thought of the meal itself and the thought of cooking it makes me feel a bit unwell. TBH all I really feel like is more toast. I have been cooking and forcing myself to eat it though... I would feel sorry for my boyfriend if he just came home to toast and more importantly what about baby??? Anyone else ever feel like this or is it just me? Maybe I need to concentrate on cooking lighter meals/reducing portion sizes that I can pick at... At the moment it is veggie lasagne etc. which felt like it was weighing heavily on my tummy last night when I had trouble sleeping.
Any thoughts?
P.S: I hate the thought of chocolate too, how weird is that???
:
TIA!

luckily, i have a female partner and we share the food prep responsibilities so if i don't feel like i can make dinner she picks up the slack. although she might be getting bored with what i'm making on the night it's my turn!

loved chocolate before and love it now.
