Sorry I'm late! I didn't really read the other posts (sorry!) because I only have a minute.
DH came in last week. It feels SO good to have him home. You ladies were right, it's so much easier having an extra set of hands around. It took DS a few days but he's better about Daddy being around now.
We had our 2 month yesterday. He's 13lbs 9oz and 22.5in long. We didn't do shots and the doc was totally okay with it
He does have a bit of a rash...She said it could be related to his food sensitivity (something about his body thinking the proteins are pathogens and trying to attack them) if it doesn't clear up soon I'm going to cut out eggs next.
DS is also bigger than the "average" kid. He's already in his 3-6 month clothes. His 0-3 stuff doesn't fit anymore.
He takes a few long naps during the day. One in the morning, a short one in the afternoon, and a longer one in the evening...and then to bed at night.
DH had his initiation into fatherhood last night
5am DS poops out the side of his diaper. So, I have to flip the light on and wipe the sheets down (it's 5am and I already had to change the sheets yesterday for the SAME reason) Well, I'm changing his diaper and he decides he's not done and poops again...it sprayed out all over me and the sheets. A routine diaper change turned into a long excursion.
I'm also still having nipple pain. They feel a bit raw and I can't remember to always apply the lanolin. Oh, --
