HELP!!!!!
We've been CDing for TWO YEARS and I've never had a single issue. Last night I put a load in to wash and when they came out, they were still completely saturated with laundry soap. SIX RINSES LATER, they were STILL saturated. I ended up rinsing each one by hand and over an hour later, everything was finally rinsed.
My machine seems to be working fine. I have not changed our laundry routine in well over a year: cold wash, followed by hot wash, followed by cold rinse; we usually use Dr. Bronners, but I've had to use Tide for the past few loads becuase I haven't been able to get out to the market to by more Bronners. The only other change is that a month ago I started adding vinegar to the rinse becuase I noticed that the diapers were a bit stinky. The vinegar solved the stink issue and the diapers are now more absorbent as well.
What in the world is happening here?? Is it the Tide? Rinsing microfiber inserts by hand is NOT FUN!
