Great Breastfeeding Policy

I'm getting ready for a visit to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and came across this on their website:

"Mothers are free to nurse without exception – it’s the law, and we encourage it anywhere, anytime. If you are seeking a quieter spot, there is a nook in Tot Spot near the waterbed with the goldfish that is specifically designed for nursing moms."

:

Such a simple thing, and yet so rare to see--just thought I'd share.

It's in Sausalito, just over the bridge. I haven't been yet, but it looks awesome!

That makes me feel

That's great! I like that they have a quiet place in case you need one (distracted baby) but aren't trying to regulate people to use it.

Well, check out your local children's museums bf policy and send them a copy!

A fine standard to set!

I might have the location wrong but I could just swear that a mamma went there a few years ago and did not like their wording for their nursing area so wrote them a letter asking them to change it. That would be extra cool!
