Bum Genius 3.0 Leaking

My LO is 14 months and about 25 lbs. We were using disposables for a bit while he had surgery/recovery. Today I got the cloth back out and every single diaper leaked. I don't know if it's because he's more active or what. They don't need stripped. I had to change his clothes and mine so many times. Anyone else experienced this? Their website said up to 35 lbs. Is it time for me to try something different? If so, what? I really like how easy these are...

That was my first question, too. What are you using for inserts? I assume you've got it on the biggest setting...

Are the inserts sopping when you remove the diaper, or does the pee seem to leak out without getting absorbed?

Now why didn't I think of that? I'm using the large inserts that it came with. I have some prefolds. Should I double stuff with those? Or use the small and large inserts that came with it. I guess I'll have to experiment. I hate for it to be too bulky though. Thanks!

I use the large and small, but sometimes even that's not enough. I ended up needing some extra inserts. So I have bamboo, hemp and mf, and I like them all. I don't generally use pf's that often because I feel they are more bulky. In the day time, we are usually good to go with a couple full sized inserts of whatever type. At night we use 3.

This may sound strange, but you also want to be sure that you don't overstuff as that will cause gaps in the legs which will leak. If you need a lot of absorbancy, I would highly recommend some type of hemp insert. You could try a hemp stuffin or loopy-do for daytime and a super-do for night time.
