help with a middle name

DH and I have a shorter list of names we like at this point but still nothing has "stuck" with either of us. We both really like Ellie. Not short for anything, just Ellie.

Anyone have ideas on a middle name to go with Ellie?

So far I like Ellie Marie but that's all I can come up with.

Marie sounds good to me! I also think Ellie could work with a short, one syllable middle name. Like maybe:

Ellie May
Ellie Anne (though, maybe this sounds too much like Alien :P)
Ellie Lou (I like Ellie Louise also)

Though it's longer, I also like the sound of Ellie Elizabeth. Kinda rolls off the tongue.

How many syllables is your last name? Are you concerned with the flow of the last name, or do you just want a nice middle name? Are you looking for any particular root or meaning? Do you want something to complement Ellie just by sound or by meaning or root or what?

Yes, Marie is actually my stepmom's middle name, although I'm not sure that my mom would like it if I chose it. I love Ellie Grace, btw.
