Do your flannel wipes pill?

I made myself some flannel pajama pants a while ago and they pilled like mad and were not very soft after just a couple of washes. I'm considering making some cloth wipes out of flannel, but would they pill just the same? Was it just cheap flannel I bought for the pajama pants? Do your store bought flannel wipes pill less than homemade?

mine are pilly but still soft. actually, its just the flannel wipes i have in one print that are pilly. it must depend on the flannel you use. my solid flannel wipes are fine.

Must have been your flannel. Make sure it's thick or buy used flannel baby blankets from second hand store. Then you know how it washes up.
