Thank you all, again.

It was quite touching to see my dh, exhausted from work, digging a little grave for our baby. And to see my dc weep over the loss of their new sibling. These are among the things that show me that I am truly blessed.

I would have loved to have nursed my baby, held my baby, and mothered my baby, but God had a specific plan for this child. I just am thankful to have been able to carry it for a few weeks.

I pray that the rest of you have healthy pregnancies and babies in January! I will still be cheering you on!

Prayers of blessing for you all,

Rebecca

Rebecca ~ Just popping in from February...I just lost my little Tadpole and buried it in the garden today. I feel the same as you do as far as coping and understanding and being at peace. Hugs, God bless, and if you ever need to chat, I'm here.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am very glad you got the opportunity to say goodbye. At the time of my miscarriage I was terribly shook up and did not get to bury my baby. However, a week after my m/c i developed appendicitis and had to have it removed. I buried it instead on a hill outside our home. It gave me some closure as I realized I wish it could have been my baby. Very glad you got the opportunity to properly say goodbye. I will be thinking of you and your family.

Rebecca, I'm so glad you were able to pass the baby quickly and have the closure for all your family by burying the baby at home. That is wonderful... but huge hugs for your loss, I know the heartache every child is a wonderful blessing and its sad that some only come to be with us for such a short while. As for your MIL, people seem to want to come up with reasons to make the loss less significant, but nothing can diminish the fact that it truly is a loss. Blessings to your family.
