A few questions re: dental caries in toddler and nutrition plan

Hi,

My son is 14 months old and has caries on his 4 upper teeth. The 3 bottom don't look too bad right now. His left incisor has crumbled, shipped away and last night a big enough piece broke off that non of the enamel is left (no more white, just the yellowish color that appeared underneath). It has me in panic mode and I thought I was in panic mode already.

I spent a little bit of time lamenting that I didn't discover this site and it's information when I first noticed his unhealthy teeth, but I'm doing my best right now. I have Cure Tooth Decay and Nourishing Traditions on order from Amazon and HVCLO and HVBO being shipped as well. I'm also looking for raw milk sources that I can use locally or even shipped. I live in Alberta and there are non listed on realmilk.com. I'll be looking for grass-fed dairy products until then. We live in a small town but I'm on it. Luckily we fish some and hunt plenty, and my mother can hunt without a license outside of season so we will be getting a deer as soon as possible for the bones to make broth as well as the meat.

What I would really like is something immediate. His one tooth is literally falling apart and it's happening so fast. I would like to do my best to clear any of the bacteria out of his mouth right away. Is there something like this that will buy us time until our diet and supplements come in and start to take effect? I've read hundreds of messages in the archive, and only ozone therapy has stood out as something immediate. Does anyone know any dentists that do this procedure in Alberta? Actually a holistic dentist who will take children period would be nice to know of. I would love any information on it. I was also looking at an ozone generator on ebay, does anyone have more info about their effectiveness in treating dental caries? Otherwise anything else immediate that I could do to help that one tooth would be so appreciated. I know nothing will work if I don't change a lot of other things, but I would love to do something right now today that will help him.

I'd like to know about keeping the bacteria from spreading in my home. My husband and I both have unhealthy teeth, and we'll work on that: DS first, then me since I'm nursing and then my husband. But while we are adjusting and changing our diet I would like to acoid putting the bacteria right back in DS's mouth. ANy tips or tricks to help with this? Are there rinses or washes that we could use. DH and I will be using Toothsoap but that's it so far.

Lastly, I would love any info on Canadian sources for mineral supplements (calcium and magnesium), natural vitamin C, and the good probiotic that helps fight S. Mutans. I would like whole, natural products, but will take what I can get if I have no other choice.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
