Just curious what others do at night. We are down to just one diaper and that is at night. The occasional accident pee undies go in the regular wash. What do you do with your dipes? I could wash the seven nights once a week, but that could get stinky any less than I will not have a full wash. I do not wan to wash them with regular clothes for two resons a they stink and B I use half the soap or less with the dipes. So what do you all do and why?

I have in the past just washed the night diaper with my regular clothes, no reason not to. Now my toddler is wearing a pullup to bed

I wash with towels, underpants, etc. She often wakes up dry, but if there's a pee diaper in there I run the load through on cold first, like I used to with diapers, just in case. I haven't had a problem getting them clean. Also, I use the same amount of detergent no matter what I'm washing--to line 1 on cap unless the load size is unusual.

Do you use pocket's/AIO's or cloth?

Cloth. Specifically, organic cotton Toddler-ease. Occasionally prefolds if I get behind on laundry.

I'm in the same boat. except the diapers are dry every morning. I am just washing them like once a week, if that cuz that is still only 7 diapers a load. If the diaper was wet and I didn't have a lot of diaps to wash, I'd rinse the wet one out in the sink so it didn't stink and just wash sooner. I'm getting the courage up to just do undies all night. I'm not there yet.

We mostly use starbunz super undies for nighttime, and sometimes do imse vimse trainers for overnight or regular undies (she's mostly dry at night lately) and I've taken to washing stuff weekly and just do a small load of nighttime undies.

I've found I HAVE to wash these on hot or they'll stink, and I wash them separately since I don't like to wash any other laundry on hot. If I were really concerned about having a full load I'd probably fill it up with hot and soak the dipes in that for awhile, then add towels and wash on warm with an extra rinse. I've thought about it cause we're using so few but have yet to do it.

If there was poop in the diaper, I'd wash it by itself- or at least prewash it before washing in a hot load with non chlorine bleach and a load of towels. But if it's just urine, I'd toss it in with whatever laundry needs washing next.

Even now, if somebody has an "accident", the urine-soaked clothes (and possibly any washcloths used in cleaning up the floor) go in the washer, and then I'll fill up the rest of the load with whatever needs to be washed.

That's what I'd do. I've never been in that position-- by the time DD1 got to the point where she was only using a night diaper, I had the twins in dipes, and as of now DS is still in daytime diapers. But when we get to that point, this is probably what I'll do.

Thank you everyone, we use BG's so thye don't really was well with regular clothes. I tried last night and the urine stink (even after two pre-rinses) made it's way onto my clothes. I think I may start using my motherease;s again. Ds doesn't like them, but I think it will make our lives easier. he wants to wear little beetles trainers to bed, but he wets to much for them. Maybe with a cover? Then I could handwash am and not even have to put them in the washer.

While DD was still wet at night, I used mainly BGs, and maintained our diaper pail. We use cloth wipes a lot, and so I would toss wipes and any other washcloths in with them, as well, as mama cloth when used.

Now, she's almost always dry at night, so we use training pants. I was when we're running low - about once a week or so. I still maintain the diaper pail for the training pants and wipes etc.

Her training pants are getting too small, though, so I'm going to make the switch to a mattress protector, probably this weekend. She is thrilled!!
