Hi Satori, yes I know about Rainbow Flag.... I might have to check them out again...
prescottchels - Waiting to O is more boring than the 2ww, at least then I would have symptoms to obsess over! So when are you two going to breakfast? April is fast approaching so you're probably going to be ready to decide on a definite donor pretty soon.

Satori - As I understand it, and I could be wrong, Leland at Rainbow Flag is switching over to a directed donors only clinic. He is still selling the sperm he has but once that's gone it's over. Chelsie, you may want to call him at (510) 521-7737.

So what can you tell me about this Leland donor guy??
I'm not too worried about finding a donor in time for April. Not yet anyway Everything always seems to fall into perfect place for me, seemingly at the last minute... I guess I'm not done learning how to be patient... or something.

Sorry about that, Leland is the owner of Rainbow Flag Health Services. And I meant "April is fast approaching... Yay!!" not "April is fast approaching... find somebody, quick!" Lol! Sometimes I'm not so good with the writing

You can add me to the list of everything happening exactly when I need it to happen, but I still don't have patience! I'm learning though...

FtMPapa, how are you? How did the ultrasound go?

Newbian, congrats! Waiting for O is boring and horrible indeed but the time will pass before you know it. I want to see your blog too! Is that linked somewhere in your profile, or how do I get to it?

Chelsie, that sounds... interesting. Rainbow Flag would certainly be quicker . I wonder how your breakfast will go.

I'm extremely busy with work again, so not much time to check in. Hope you are all OK!

NewbianMama-ah now what you wrote about Leland makes more sense lol

We haven't set a breakfast date yet, but I might email or call him today to do that. He gets so wrapped up w/work the days fly by.

MittensKittens - Thank you for the encouragement If you click on my user name it will open a drop-down box and you can select "view homepage". I try to write at least once a week but nothing interesting is happening this week! Lol!

How are your kids? I know you're busy with work so hopefully you're getting some rest too.

FTMPapa - How was the ultrasound?

cparies - What's going on lady?

Chelsie - I'm ready for your breakfast to be now! Lol! I think I'm less patient than you about your upcoming TTC

Thank you, Satori. I should have known better as I'm an avid DDC lurker

Are you still having baby fever for #3? Hopefully all the hard work you're doing at your job is paying off financially and you can TTC soon.

My test was BFN. I'm not able to afford mini-IVF again so I'm going to start researching self home insemination.

Would any ladies here give any tips or links? I'm in the states, so I'm not sure if that affects things.

Also, on vials, does one vial mean only mean one procedure? Or can you use the same vial for several procedures within the same few days? Or would multiple vials need to be used for the same month?

I'm not pursuing this for a while, but research is always good.

Good luck to everyone else!

I'm lost, you did IVF first? Thats usually the last resort after many many failed IUI/ICI's and realizing that IUI won't work for you. I'm sorry the cycle did not work
post #313 of 515
cparies - I'm so sorry your test was negative. A vial is only part of a man's ejaculate so one vial equals one try. If you want to inseminate two or three times per cycle, you will need as many vials.

My favorite book for TTC is The New Essential Guide to Lesbian Conception, Pregnancy, and Birth by Stephanie Brill. It is perfect even if you're not lesbian as it speaks to the unique challenge of TTC using donor sperm (fresh or frozen). It's about $18 on Amazon.

I did mini/micro- IVF. Not a full IVF. It's a better odds procedure for those who might want to try IUI.

So I figure I'll just take my time more later in the year and see if I can make this happen.

Thanks for the book rec. I'll order it.

Depends, is the father going to be involved in anyway? SMC's have no involvement from the fathers including child support. I know at this point your still trying to figure out what to do about the father.
Yep,still trying to figure it all out. I'll be alone for the pregnancy though, well he won't be involved in anyway I don't think.

I'll post my reply over on your other thread since I don't want to get my hand smacked for referring to another thread.

How's everybody doin??

NewbianMama-anything to report yet? Did ya get to DTD? as it were...

Sposed to go on a hike that Mr. Man is leading for a group of 30 this morn, but it snowed so I'm not sure if the group is still going, but I'm hoping he'll still want to go hike or do breakfast w/just me
I finished reading The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz last night in the tub and wanted to share this quote. It's really how I've started trying to live in the past few months (before I started reading the book) and how I'd like to be in a relationship, whenever that occurs... "Together let us work as a team for love, for joy, for harmony".
Happy Snowy Sunday everybody!

prescottchels - Were you able to go on that hike with Mr. Man? How's the house coming along? Hope you had a great weekend. Thank you for sharing that quote. I loved The Four Agreements that was written by DMR (I think it was him!).

AFM - I haven't DTD yet but it will be sometime this week. I feel my body gearing up for ovulation which is a relief. This waiting game is for the birds!

<-------- Did you see my Dirty Deeds Done Cheap (DDDC)? It's in reference to my upcoming insemination

How's everyone else doing on this first day of March?
