I hope this fits in here...

i am thinking of buying the $100 one that goes on top of the counter. I have the crappiest well water, so the Pur faucet filter was of no use, but I really feel too guilty to go on buying gallon jugs each week. I guess I could resuse them, but it just seems to unsanitary to me, esp since my kids love to sneak sips striaght from the jug.

Let me know if you like your Aquasana, and even if you hated it, I want to know. ALso, if you know of a better quality brand for about that price, please share!

We have had the undercounter filter for our drinking water and the shower filter for over a year. Love it, the water tastes great. I do not know of anything better for the price. We did get the "deluxe" faucet as we heard the regular one was poor quality.

I found one on ebay for $85 with free s/h. It's got the two piece filter thingie...I'd love some more replies. The auction ends soon, but I may just go for it anyway.

well, i'm dredging this up to say that i just got my filter in the mail today, opened all the boxes up and saw a teeny tiny sticker that says it is not for non-municipal water. i'm in central florida and i am on a well. our water is rusty and full of sulphur. any locals here who might be able to tell me their experiences with this filter on well water, or anyone with a well who knows of a good drinking water filter?

I don't like the aquasana filters. You might wanna check out the berkey water filters. They are amazing and are not R/O. These filters filter everything and even flouride and arsenic which I dont think aqusana does. They are the worlds best filter. Pm if you want to buy one, I sell them in my online shop and I can give you a good deal if you are on a budget.
