Q about multiple vaccine testing

I just stumbled across this...

http://immunizenevada.com/documents/document_60.pdf

It's a Q&A from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The 2nd to last question is about the safety of giving multiple vaccines at the same time. Supposedly they're tested and proven safe. I thought they weren't. Am I wrong?

It doesn't list any of the studies but it does list Paul Offit as a major contributor.

Offit is the one who doesn't need any sources to back up his ridiculous claim (or "fact" in his opinion) that children can be injected with 100,000 different vaccines and be just fine.

Yes, there are lots of tests that look at groups of vaccines being given at the same time, both for efficacy and safety. However, many will interpret the findings differently. What is safe to one isn't always safe to another.

Yes, but none of them have looked at the current pediatric schedule as it stands today, and what it's short- and long-term efficacy and safety is, using proper control groups (ahem...comparing vaxed and non-vaxed).

That's downright criminal, if you ask me. Parents shouldn't have to extrapolate and piece together dozens of studies to get some semblance of information about how, when or if they should vaccinate their children.

Yes, except that the powers that be don't consider that anyone will question the medical recommendation which is strict adherence to the vaccine schedule. You're not supposed to see the studies, you're just supposed to follow what your doctor says unquestioningly...

Oh, yes. Silly me, assuming that everyone wants full informed consent.

the other bit which is of major interest is the exclusions from the studies...

I did a quick survey of vaccine studies a few years back. I looked at over 40 of them. All of them tested the vaccines on "healthy" babies. However, if you take your baby in with a cold, or even a fever, the doctor might still try to give the kid 7 or 8 vaccines during the visit.

The problem is even trickier if you have a baby with a serious health condition. There is no information whatsoever on the safety of vaccines in that case. Zip. Zero. Nada. This will not stop many doctors from strongly recommending vaccines to the babies with serious health conditions.
