My dd is almost one and she pretty much only naps in the Ergo on my back. She used to sleep on the front but I get more done with her on the back. Anyone else? I don't really mind but it would be nice if she would take a nap in a crib. Any ideas on transitioning and/or - have you btdt and have wisdom to share.

My daughter was the same way, she would only nap on me, either on my lap or in a carrier on my back...she was about 14, 15 months when I was able to transition her out of it. Maybe you can start trying to get her to sleep on your lap, and then put her down after she's good and asleep? I would have a boppy on my lap, and then once she was asleep I would lower her slowly (like, *really* slowly
), boppy and all, onto the floor and she'd sleep like that for an hour or two using the boppy like a body pillow. It took about 30 min to get her asleep and down onto the floor, but then I had an hour or so completely hands free, so it was worth it to me.
