Q about short rows!

I've done several pairs of longies with the Pimp My Longies pattern, and every single time my short rows turn out funky! At the beginning and end, where you YO to turn and start the short row, the YO looks wrong. I've googled tons of tutorials and I can't figure out what I"m doing wrong!

What method are you using for your short rows?

You will likely always be able to see where the extra stitches are inserted in the pants, but various short row methods are better (or worse) at hiding the places where the rows start and end.

This little tutorial gives me the best results for "hidden" short rows in the round: http://www.woolywonder.com/forums/sh...1&postcount=34

Thank you for that link! I had done it like that in the past, and I think I'll go back to that method. What I have been doing is slipping the next stitch at the beginning of the short row, wrapping the yarn around it, then turning and purling back to the end of the short row. I was trying to avoid those gaps that happen with the method you linked to, although since you pick it up later i guess it wouldn't matter!

Yeah, I've never had much luck wrapping stitches and later hiding them.

I use this method and I really love it. It's the neatest method I've found so far. I still really, really, really hate short rows. :
