GMD or Little Lions prefolds?

Anyone have experience with both? I need to order my newborn stash as soon as we get a check we're expecting, and I need to spend as little as possible, without sacrificing quality. Thoughts?

I have unbleached Little Lions that are great, but I LOVE our GMD bleached. All are toddler sized. I just bought another dozen green-edged GMD from a mom on diaperswappers. They are a little narrower than the LL (and I have FAT baby) and they seem to be thicker.
GMD is worth the money, I think. They last forever. :-)

Money-wise, little lions are cheaper and there is even a good sale going on right now on their "seconds" prefolds. http://www.little-lions.com/page50.html

Their shipping cost is also fair.

I have GMD's in several sizes. They are basically the only diapers I use, I love them. But for a newborn you might be ok with Little Lions, since you need to spend as little as possible. GMD's are very very absorbant, but a newborn doesn't pee that much, so most other pf's hould be fine. When your baby is a little older, you might want to go ahead and get those GMD's. They're wider than others which totally makes sense to me, you get a bettter fit. They worked nicely for my short and chunky dd1 and the same diapers are now working perfectly for my tall and thin dd2. I LOVE them!!
