When to contact Diaper Service

I am a first timer and I was wondering when should I contact my local diaper service to make sure I have diapers when little one gets here?

Also can you offer helpful sources for some one who has never cloth diapered before?

Thanks!

Maybe you should call them and ask their advice. Maybe they'll deliver some diapers for you while you're still pregnant and then you can call them after the baby is born to start regular delivery.

And the link in my signature should be helpful.

When I did diaper service they dropped off the first delivery a couple weeks before I was due and said to call them when I was ready to start regular service. I ended up using sposies for the first couple weeks. DD was early and tiny and swimming in the newborn size cloth prefolds. Congrats on the impending delivery!

I would say to call at about 36-37 weeks. The company I used delivered the first batch when I was 38 weeks (good thing cuz I was early ) and they needed a weeks notice cuz they only came to my neighbourhood once a week.
