Hi Everyone -- I'm a little late since we just moved and have been without DSL for a week. You think labor was bad? Try living without internet and phone the week you have a baby! LOL
Anyway, my water broke early Tuesday morning and my daughter was born that same day (June 16) at 1:51pm. She was posterior, which meant 12 hours of agonizing back labor. Nonetheless, I somehow managed a natural, drug-free delivery (even though I am not ashamed to admit that I was crying and begging for drugs in transition!) Did not get them and I am so glad now.
Eilis is pronounced EYE-liss and she was 8lbs 5oz and 19.5" long. She is doing beautifully. Nursing like a pro and I am trying to stay off my feet -- as much as I can with a 4YO in the house, too.
