I think I'm addicted to buying diapers

Uh Oh. Some one help me. I love buying diapers now! We don't really need any more but I keep wanting to buy more. I was so excited when we moved to a house with a washer and dryer and I got to start washing our own instead of doing diaper service. But now I think I'm developing an addiction! They're just so cute! I was so excited to have a reason to buy a swim diaper this week...with little cherries and flowers on it.

Me too! This baby has 5 dozen diapers . I was behind on covers but I just ordered 5 more last night! I love buying diapers and we are just using prefolds and covers. I stay far, far away from the 'fitted' section on ds! There are just way too many cute choices on there.

me too! It's a real problem. I might have to go to a diaper addiction meeting. lol (how fun would that be?!) I'm really into wool these days and I'm trying to tell myself that I don't need to buy these. Or do I? I mean I do live in Alaska and wool longies would be appropriate any time of year here. hmm... never mind the wool longies (2 pair!) I just bought off of etsy. good lord what am I going to do about this?!

i am definitely there with you.. my first thought when I got this latest BFP was..."ooooh, I get to buy more diapers"

Me too I was sober for a while because DS (who was EC'd toilet trained really early and I had no excuse). But we never did CD when he was a newborn, so now I have a valid (?) excuse. Hello addiction again! And the newborn ones are just WAY too cute and adorable. Im in heaven. My poor bank account is crawling around on the floor though

Haha I'm glad I'm not alone!

AKIslandgirl: Those pants are too darling! Of course it popped in my head that maybe I could use some. But we do a mix of prefolds and AIOs and it's *finally* starting to warm up here.

I bought too many BG organic AIOs from the get go. I should have left more room to try things out and play. But I rationalize that I'll be able to use them again on future babies.

i am totally addicted to the point that its scary. we are moving into mediums soon (haha, funny i say "we" instead of "she")- and i am going nuts trying diapers to find the perfect system for our medium stash. meanwhile, i've built up enough of these diapers that ive been trying out to BE the stash. scary!

Well my stash consists of:

cotton prefolds...going to need a bigger size fairly soon
lots of bum genius AIO one size organics with the snaps
4 sposoeasy AIOs - 2 snap, 2 velcro
3 fuzzi bunz one size pockets
1 bum genius 3.0 aio in size small (non organic) with velcro - my latest addition and I love it so much and want more...I love how well the sized dipe fits as opposed to the one size. But DD will only be in small for a couple more months...then I'm going to buy a bunch in medium.
Also bought the cutest swim dipe this week...and finally took DD swimming for the first time yesterday in a local warm pool. Very cute!

I haven't tried any fitted dipes...not sure if I should go there...I might open up a whole new can of worms!

buying cute diapers has a way of replacing buying shoes and bags!

Wow, you're right! Now that I'm a SAHM I don't use most of my clothes or shoes or purses...diapers have become my fun thing to shop for. LOL! I love showing them off to my friends that use sposies (which is a lot of them).

Yep, I totally turned my shopping addiction unconsciously onto kids stuff instead- much less guilt involved

You're definately not alone!

When I first read into cloth diapers I thought I would never get addicted to it. I thought it was crazy! I found myself later, though, that I was buying and looking at diapers and DS had plenty! I stopped looking at FSOT threads and calmed down a bit with the diaper buying. Avoid those threads, mama!

Thankfully none of you are alone About 6 months ago one of my best friends was a tester for the knickernappies one size diaper and I have been SOO anxiously awaiting when I could get my hands on one. So happy my son has one now! I get rediculously excited every time one of the companies comes out with a new diaper since it means I get to get one for my ds.

I agree with the pp on the bg aio's. You just can't beat the trimness of those dipes! Just love them

My husband actually said "We are going to end up having another baby just to put in these diapers!" I have to admit, it had already occurred to me! We are soooo sick...

Yeah I use the other baby thing to justify my addiction- as in 'they'll get plenty of use'. But honestly Im not sure how much better I'd be if this was my last one
