Mecury in Vaccines

I'm not sure how to handle this. There's a wonderful mommy I met from a mommy group. We were talking about vaccines and she was telling me how she was spacing them out. I said yes I did the same thing at her two month checup. I said I really don't want all those toxins in my DD at one time. Not to mention I'm still researching vaccines as well. She said what toxins vaccines don't have mecury in them anymore. I said oh where did you hear that...she said my doc told me that I asked him today. So is this true did they get rid of mecury in vaccines? I know when my older kids got vaccines there was mecury in them.

Yeah, they got rid of mercury alright. It is still used in the manufacturing process and then filtered out. And since it's "filtered out", they don't have to tell us how much is left. They can just write "trace amounts". Now, mine and their definition of trace are two different things, I'm sure.

Also, there is still full blown mercury in the flu shot at least.

I would have gone one of two ways:

I would tell her to ask her doctor to give her the inserts for each vaccine. Act like it's a totally normal thing for her to do. Obviously we read the inserts before giving medication, right?

or

I would have reminded her of the other ingredients listed on the vaccine inserts, such as animal dna, msg, food coloring, aluminum, etc etc. It sounds as if she made a decision based on hearsay (e.g. everyone is talking about mercury). She might not be aware of how vaccines are made and what they contain.

As for your question, yes, Thim is still in several vaccines. The alleged difference is the quantity. Apparently it is supposed to contain only trace amounts from manufacturing.

It worries me that she's discounting "toxins" because of mercury removal (or semi-removal). What about aluminum, formaldehyde, MSG, and known allergens like yeast, aspartame, and gelatin.

Like pp said there are many more toxins in vaccines.

Mercury was just one brought out by parents who started to question vaccines in general. So they supposedly filter Mercury out now. And with that they tell us, "see mercury didn't cause autism since we still have...." or something along those lines. Fact is they have increased flu shots which is loaded with mercury.

But mercury was just one concern. Since they were able to filter it out they focused in on that one chemical. Hoping no one would worry about all the other toxins that are in vaccines.

Fact is vaccines are loaded with chemicals which are carcinogenic, mutagenic, and have never been declared save for fertility.
