So, Trenton Ryan was born at 8:11 pm on June 18th. We attempted a VBAC but it was not succesful. His head got stuck in exactly the same place that DS1's did despite our best efforts. Our Dr was able to make our section a very good experienc and I am thrilled that I tried a VBAC and even MORE thrilled to have our baby here!!!! He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 21.75 inches long. We just got home today and it is good to be out of the hospital. DS1 is 14 months and a tad confused by everything but seems to be doing well. Physically I don't feel too bad at all, hoping to a quick recovery like last time. So far Trenton is a champion nurser, hopefully that continues!!!

congrats, mama!!! i know how you feel -- we ended up with an unexpected (primary) c-section this time too, but i actually don't feel the disappointment that i thought i would. i just feel/felt calm, knowing that i had done everything i could -- babies who are transverse just can't come out any other way! lol anyway, i'm so happy that you are happy with the experience!

welcome, Trenton! :

I am sorry about the c-section, but glad you got to attempt it. How wonderful.

And as for the nursing, WOO HOOO I am so glad it is going well. I hope that keeps up. It should be your reward for all your super hard work last time and your 2nd section.

Thanks He is still doing great with nursing, he nurses every 1-2 hours but he sleeps for 3-4 at night and he latches on so easily!!!
