Most affordable but good quality fitteds

I am planning on mostly prefolds (GMD is the plan) for my baby due in Nov. I would love to get some fitteds, as many as I could afford. The best priced ones I have found are the semi fitted/prefitteds of course.

GMD cloth-ezz $6.95 without velcro $7.95 with velcro
Tiny Tots economy fitteds $5.00 has snaps thebabymarketplace.com
Semi-fitted $3.99 has snaps thebabymarketplace.com
Snugglebottoms w/velcro 6/$25 ($4.16 each) w/o velcro 6/$22 ($3.66 each)

Has anyone tried any of these and what are your opinions? Any good priced ones I have missed? I want them mostly for the elastic at the legs, I want to insure containment of poop.

This WAHM has the best dipes!

we've been using some of the GMD fitteds. I like them ok. DH likes how easy they are to put on (we snappi fasten them) but I still like the fit of a prefold better. I rarely get a poop blow out with a prefold (jelly roll) but have had several with the prefold fitted. I tend to put them on her after a poop change. They are nice and soft and look pretty darn cute though.

Haven't tried any of the others but we do like the mother ease one size fitteds. We were able to start using them when dd was about 11 pounds. My sis has used them on multiple babes and loves them. With these you won't have to keep buying new sizes.

Got sewing skiillz? If you can sew- at ALL - I highly reccomend looking into making your own. With an investment of about $60, my mom and I have made 45 (!!) diapers total and will have enough to make a good 6 covers for my soon-to-be-here ds....

Haven't tried them, but Little Lions fitteds are reasonably priced. They are usually $9, but they are on sale now for $7.50.

My #1 vote is for Mother-ease one size fitteds because they last a VERY long time. If you're short on money this minute, All Together fitteds are good, and I've heard good things about Snugglebottoms.

I was going to say Mother-ease, too. It wasn't one you mentioned but I think they are worth the little bit extra per dipe. I have a couple dozen of the OS and Sandy's that are more than 5 yrs old. They also seem to hold their resale value -if that's important to you.

Thanks.

I keep hearing good things about mother-ease. I really planned on all-natural fabric next to babies skin and these have synthetic, right? Does no one have trouble with odors?
I have actually seen some in person and they seem really soft and nice. However, I don't think I'll like the covers. A friend let me borrow some and they seem uncomfortable. These are the only covers I have seen in person, though.

Motherease are great and all natural - either cotton or bamboo. The bamboo are pricey but I find the cotton, which are very reasonable, to be wonderful.

I've tried a million different dipes and have come back to motherease having tried and tested others with unsatisfactory results. And they do hold out brilliantly... I'm about to roll my original stash onto a new baby, and they are showing almost NO signs of wear after two years of steady use.

I have the organic cotton ones, which are a little more expensive, but all natural and I've never had odor problems with them. I like the covers, too.

I have heard great things about Mother Ease as well and with the one-size fitted it may be cheaper than buying less expensive ones in multiple sizes? They have a snap-in doubler too, I'd be tempted to get a few of those for when they get older and start peeing less often but larger amounts, and for naps.
