Just wondering how much fish oil everyone is taking. I take Carlson's very finest fish oil 1600mg omegas in 1tsp. I try to take 2 tsp a day if I can.
Anyone else?

I'm taking the Country Life Prenatal Omega Mom softgels.

I'm waiting to have the money to buy some of the nice liquid Fish Oil from the health food store.

I'm taking Platinum Easymulti prenatal softgels - they have fish oil in them too. And they are much easier to get down than the powdery tablets.

That said, my eyes are still watering from the one I took a few minutes ago!

I was taking Fish Oil for my triglycerides before I got pregnant but I have stopped taking everything till I see my doctor. I think the prenatals he gave me last time had a seperate omega capsule with it. I know right now I couldn't even open that bottle of fish oil capsules I have right now.

I am. I'm doing three capsules a day, as my body will let me.

I was taking fish oil prior to my bfp and this is just a helpful hint that someone told me

Freeze your caplets! They go down so much easier frozen, and then you're not burping that fishy taste!

I take flax oil instead. 1-2 T as a salad dressing works for me.

I am buying the orange juice that has the fish oil in it- Active something? It actually tastes just like orange juice.

My midwife is switching me to fish oil pills though once I transfer to her..

I take a DHA supplement (we're vegan) - it's algea based.

I also try to incorporate ground flaxseed into my diet everyday.

I take Holista Omega-3 fish oil softgels. I take 1 pill daily almost every day but do miss days. I also sprinkle a little flaxseed in my cerial or on top of the peanut butter on my toast in the morning sometimes.

I take Nature made, 1-2 pills a day (720mg per pill).

As long as they have gone through molecular distillation, they are good for pregnant women!

My dr has me on 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil per day. I can't swallow big pills, but I am also vegetarian, so fish oil definitely doesn't sound too good!

Thanks for the replies ladies. I may have to switch to capsules until I get past the nausea bc some days taking the oil off the spoon is um nasty.

I am considering taking Coromega, it's emulsified and your body absorbs more of it. It taste like orange pudding, very minimal fish burps and no fish taste.

Norwegian Labs, 2-4 caps a day depending on nausea, which has been terrible lately.

Could you tell me what brand that is? I had a seriously nasty run in with mercury about ten years ago and now I'm sensitive to the tiniest amount. I'd love to take a non-fish DHA supplement.
