Mold in the shower? How to keep it away?..

Hi! We just bought a house and the master bathroom has an all tile shower with a glass door. The problem we are having is I keep seeing black in between the tiles. It seems I cant clean enough. Is there something I can spray in the shower before I get out to prevent this nasty stuff from growing? There is no fan in the bathroom so I assume that is part of the problem and its too cold to open a window. Any ideas?

Have you tried pouring H2O2 on it or scrubbing with Oxygen bleach?

If nothing else works I would pour some bleach on the mold to kill it.

Or maybe having a spray bottle with vinegar to use after every shower would help. Vinegar is supposed to be good at killing molds.

We had this same problem and I don't know what can remove it. What I did was actually remove the grout and re-grout the areas with the mildew. I found a kit at the hardware store with the tool and the grout included, it was really pretty easy, and I think it took me about three hours. Afterward, I sealed the grout with a silicone sealant. The trick then is to dry the shower whenever you use it, with a towel or a squeegy (sp?). As long as we keep it dry the grout seems to stay clean.

If you don't want to do this, you might try spraying it daily with vinegar. HTH
