Hello! I think I may be one of the only ones here so early. I'm Danielle, mama to nursling Valley Eden born at home on 9.24.07. I live in Alaska and am "due" the first week of march. I'm not sure yet. But I got my first bfp at 8ish dpo (according to my last +opk) and we've been trying for 8 cycles. I'm SO excited!!

We're planning a home waterbirth and hoping for a lotus birth. We didn't know about lotus births with our dd and were sad that we didn't do it after, but I'd also like to "eat" my placenta (by putting it in capsules) so more research will tell which is more beneficial. And we're also going to be surprised on our babies gender

I joined a ddc with Valleys pregnancy and made some of the best friends I have there. We moved to a private board and are still chatting nearly 3 years after we "met". I've even met quite a few in person, and vacationed with someone I would consider very close this last summer (from the board). So I am very excited to make relationships here

Hello! I have been checking this board waiting for the DDC to show up! I am due March 3rd (approx.) I tested at 11 dpo and got a very faint pos.

I am mama to William, 21 months, and we live in the Twin Cities, MN. I am currently working part time and I also have my own sewing business (cloth diapers mostly). When (if!) my DH's job becomes stable, I will be quitting my job to SAH.

We had a hospital waterbirth with W., and our plans for #2 are up in the air. We may do another hospital birth (our hosp. is very crunchy and natural- my RN during the birth had unattended homebirths for her kids) but a homebirth is under consideration too.

I am still nursing W. a tiny bit- a full feed in the am, and 2 super-short ones later in the day. I am trying to slowly and gently wean him for my sanity (and nursing is very uncomfortable for me right now).

Sue! So interesting how both of our babies are September babies and both of our second babies are march babies! AND my "EDD" by my LMP is March 3rd. I am not certain of my O date so we may be dd buddies

I am going based on my O date... I had a wierd cycle due to a cyst bursting (it took me 20-some days to O) so date of last period is worthless for me.

The 2.5 year age gap seems perfect to me. When W. was 15 months we were no where near ready, but now that he actually sleeps at night I am pumped for another baby (and I am already browsing for tieeny tiny CD's on diaperswappers, I am so naughty!)

Were you hoping to have your DC closer in age since you have been trying for 8 months?

we were hoping for 2 years 6 months or younger. And we ended up right on the cusp of our hopes! so YAY! Valley actually started sleeping at 18 months YAY but still wakes up once to nurse at night. I'm super psyched about teeny cloth diapers! I want to make mine I think.

Hello! I belong here, too, and have also been waiting for this to start up for a little bit now. I am pretty new here, and have never belonged to a due date club before. This should be fun!

I tested positive at about 14 dpo (I don't temp, because I bed share with my 17 month old and we never wake up at the same time in the morning, I just check my mucus and cervix, so I know 'about' which day I ovulated; I also had cramping on my right side on the day I'm pretty sure I o'd). I am nursing my 3 year old dd and 17 month old ds, both of whom were born at home. We're planning our 3rd home birth somewhere in early March!

When I got pregnant with my dd and ds, I pretty much knew I was getting pregnant, and had the tww to wrap my head around it. This time I actually thought we were careful and didn't even consider that I was pregnant until the day before I tested. We're still trying to let it sink in I guess just withdrawing doesn't work for us

I'm due April 2nd with my 5th! I was so not expecting to be back here this soon, let alone under these circumstances.

I just got divorced and my fiance moved in the 2nd. I was on the mini pill but ended up late and took a test and sure enough...he wasnt even sure he could HAVE kids, so he is very excited, as this will be his first. Its kind of an odd situation to say the least, but we're still happy.

Anywho, my youngest is only 10.5 months old so this will be rather fun, I've never had kids so close in age. I also had a tough time with his pregnancy and developed HELLP syndrome at ~33 weeks, leading to my first cesarean and preemie. Hopefully it wont happen again but well...I'll be worried. I'm also trying for a VBAC.

Oddly this is my first time havng morning sickness and it sucks!! Hopefully all you other ladies are having an easier time

I am going to do a combo of making them and buying.

I have a cloth diaper sewing business so I better make at least some of them, but after sewing so much for my business sometimes I get sick of it and want to just buy dipes for my LO.

So wonderful to see so many differently sized families taking shape here!

I'm Penelope, married to B, and my family size is in my signature.

I would have conceived on the 9th or the day or two after that, so that puts my EDD around March 2. All of my babies cook longer, though, so I could see us ending up at mid-March. (My last one, also my tiniest baby, was born ON her due date...how strange is that?)

My youngest is over 3.5 years old, and she's at the "Ooooh, babies!" stage, so this should be fun. I'm very excited, but my DP is having a little trouble catching his breath.

I'm having no issues at all, except calling my physician about my meds to make sure my new asthma medication isn't going to be taken from my grasping little hands.

I'm starting out this time weighing more than I would have liked, so I'm hoping to keep weight gain minimal, but don't hold out much hope. I always gain at least 45 lbs, and I'm fairly active and eat well. Oh, well, if history holds true the baby will nurse it away in no time. :

I homeschool and my schedule is very wonky, so I'm on and off the computer at odd hours, and sometimes miss weeks on end.

Nice to meet you all!

love, penelope

I hope you don't mind if I lurk here, too. I'm due Feb 28- but I think I'll go over.
I'm 24 and have two children- a five year old and a two year old. I had my oldest naturally in the hospital and my youngest was a homebirth. She's also still nursing!
Happy to be here!

I can't get the multi-quote thing to work. I'm a computer dork.

theretohere,hi!! Wouldn't that be fun if you had a leap year baby? (I know we're not in a leap year). My favorite G&S operetta is "The Pirates of Penzance." You could name him Frederic and hope he finds his Mabel before he's in his eighties.

(I know, I'm a geek).

Hope everyone is gestating peacefully!

love, p

Hi everyone... I think I'm the first one here with no other children, and I'm due on the 1st. I'm cautiously optimistic at this point, after having a 12-wk m/c in February, and having basically NO symptoms other than a few BFPs at this point. I've got a dr. appt tomorrow for blood work.. hopefully I'll feel better (or worse, as the case may be!) soon. Nice to "meet" you all and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!!

Lucy V, I pray that this sweet baby sticks, and that you will be here with us for the whole ride.

I ovulated between the 3rd and 5th. Maybe some of you NFPers can help me with this. On the 3rd I had steady cramping on my lower right side for about 10 minutes or so (your typical ovulation cramping), but in checking my cervix, it was still up and open until the 5th. On the 6th is was medium high and closed, obviously coming back down. I don't temp, so I don't have that to go by. Can anyone make any sense of that? That's why I say that I ovulated somewhere between there. Also, we dtd on the 1st, and dh withdrew, which makes me think I would have had to have ovulated on the early side of that span. Thoughts?

I have always had long cycles. A typical one for me has always been 30 to 32 days. This time I ovulated between days 17 and 19. Counting 40 weeks from my ovulation day brings me to about March 11. When I go to any "due date calculation" website, it has me conceiving on May 31, but I didn't even ovulate until at least the 3rd of June . I guess this little one will comes when he or she is ready.

Hi everyone!!! I've been waiting for this DDC to open!!! I can't type much but I'm due Feb 21...I'm in the March DDC bc I went to 42 weeks last time and hated being the last one on my ddc to have my baby, lol. I figure I will go late again. Hopefully not but, these things repeat right??? I'm going for a VBA2C. I have not decided if I am going to have a homebirth or hospital birth. My options are pretty screwy right now to be honest. and I will post details soon.

anyways!!! glad to be on here and to meet you all!

Hello!

I'm pregnant with Baby Bean #1. Due date of 3/5/2010. Just got my BFP this morning! Over the moon and happy to be here.

Currently, I am a private violin teacher but plan to stay home when Bean is born. (Maybe teach a few lessons from home? Can't imagine giving it up. I love to teach.)

Can't wait to get to know you.
